With the help of Herbcare, Operation Diabetes as created, a Philippine nationwide public service program that aims to curb the further spread of diabetes. It was launched in October 2001 by the Association of Municipal Health Officers of the Philippines. The program helps establish diabetic clubs all over the country to act as the support group to bring diabetes awareness and lifestyle reforms in the community. Herbcare staff work closely with these clubs, supporting a number of their needs such as: conducting mass aerobics, fasting blood-sugar campaigns, and information-dissemination drives.
